Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and raised there. She went on to become a TV host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in the area of Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in the midst of a challenging family. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with Polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father for being too close with her. Sheryl joined the military after her college graduation. However, her interests lay in comedy. In 1989, she became the first female to make it to the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She began her TV career after becoming a frequent performer at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. Then in 2011, she started appearing on The Talk as co-host. She's been in many fictional show including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
