Sheryl underwood is a comedian as well as a host on television as well as an actor in the United States. She is best known for her work as The Talk's daytime co-host. Sheryl was born and brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl comes from an extended family with numerous issues. She spent most her childhood looking after her older sister Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. Growing up, she had an uneasy relationship with her mom. Sheryl claims that her mom once stabbed at her father for getting too close. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from university. But her passion was comedy. She was the first woman to be a finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She appeared on Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. In 2011, she's co-hosting the Talk Show. She also has fictional roles on series such Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
