Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer, and vocalist. In addition to being a beautiful and intelligent actress, she serves as a role-model for several Asian actors working in Hollywood who wish to make it big. Her early success was boosted by her appearance on several popular television series. There, she portrayed the evil Ling Woo. The actress translated her sudden fame into major screen roles in films including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The actress also gave an amazing performance as Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii, in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. While she was in the film, her roles as an actor in films that failed that were box-office hits like Rise: Blood Hunter were also prominent. In animated films like Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and others she voiced prominent characters. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was an unimportant role which didn't have any impact. Southland was a critically-acclaimed crime drama that established Liu's status as a top actress.
