April Ross

April Ross has won more than one Olympic gold medal. She is among only a handful of female beach volleyball players that be able to do so. In Tokyo during the coming days she'll be aiming to claim her third Olympic medal together with fellow first-time Olympian Alix Klineman. Ross hopes to win more than her initial Olympic medal. At 39 this may be her last chance to do so. She is still confident nevertheless. That's why I'm taking a little bit of luck and hope for the best. Ross is born August 22nd, 1982 in Costa Mesa California. She resided there with her family. In Newport Harbor High School, she participated in various athletics. She was a basketball player and also ran track, in addition to her indoor volleyball achievements in her time as a college athlete. In the last sport she clearly stood out. She was named in the category of Gatorade National Circle of Champions player of the year in 1999 for her efforts. She was also awarded an Orange County Athlete of the of the year for volleyball. Ross Klineman joined her relationship in 2017 but Ross has been a prominent participant on the beach for quite a while before. Margie Ross, Ross' mother, didn't get the opportunity to witness Ross' daughter blossom into famous in beach volleyball. Ross's mother died in the year 2001. Ross was still an USC sophomore. It was discovered that she had breast cancer. She continues to cherish her mother who died. Margie continues to be an inspiration for her family on the beach and all throughout her life.
