Amy Smart has been a model, actress, and former American. Born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first role. It was a long road to be a part of Starship Troopers in a smaller role. At first, it was hard for Amy to switch from modelling to acting. The reason is that most models aren't great actors. In the majority of cases, they're given insignificant and small role. But somehow Amy did not give up and stepped into more prestigious roles. It all started with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy then moved into leading roles in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. It was a huge film at the box office and Amy had finally found the success she'd been trying for for more than a decade. Amy went on to work in several of the most famous films including the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless in which she played an enduring character.
