Californian born, she made her first appearance on film at just four years old. Her birthplace was in California and began acting at the age of four. The actress appeared in a variety of television dramas before getting a part on the big screen. She was in a variety of roles in her professional career. These include a schoolgirl spy, professional dancer (in "Stomp the Yard"), a femme fatale in the neo-noir mystery film Brick, and police detective in her own NBC show Deception.
